I was a big fan of The Office and Extras, and I certainly recognize that Ricky Gervais is talented.  (Pity, then, that on occasion, Ricky Gervais the man does not seem to take heed of several of the morals conceived and portrayed by Gervais the writer/actor.)

I think pretty much any/every BBC drama/comedy has what they call the "Christmas Special."  (Do they always serve as a series finale/resolution?)

Eh; it ain't so bad.

(I cannot convey with words how much I loved this comment.)

YOU GO STRAIGHT TA HELL, "MILK BOX HERO!!!!!!!"

Agreed.

I don't have that much of a problem with it either, to be honest.

"But it's been bothering me lately how Dexter does incredibly dumb things, and it's not a problem…To be fair, this has been a problem in the last 3 season's."

A few eps ago, when Deb recounts to her shrink how she used to sneak in to Dexter's room when she was 4 or so (am I remembering this correctly?), I thought "AHA!!  FINALLY!  What's going to happen now is that Deb, through her counselling sessions, is going to unlock a memory of her brother being weird/killing things

I'D WATCH THIS.

Well done!

Agreed.  I'll admit; it's been some time since I've seen an episode of Six Feet Under.  But I think it's a pretty safe bet to say that Six Feet Under's worst episode boasts a higher level of quality than most Dexter episodes.

Aww, MAN!  I'm so embarrassed to admit I myself didn't catch several of these dumb, DUMB plot inconsistencies.

"For the same reason they do everything in this show, because it's convenient for the writers."

THIS JUST IN:  funding for the remake has collapsed, forcing the filmmakers to turn to cheaper production alternatives.  Brace yourselves for  CANADIAN PSYCHO:  A Drama Aboat Madness

Oh, Darth!  I loved you more, Darth Vader Says, when you used to says not as much as you says now!

WELL!  Disqus can just suck my Disqus.

"It’s been handled so poorly, now I’m questioning the fundamental concepts on which the show is built."

It's amazing how much I've forgotten about this show.  (I first/last saw the entire run roughly eight years ago.)

UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
