I was way less excited last year. Once Katya was eliminated I was #TeamNoOne, so at least these final four are more interesting to spend an hour with.

The show premieres on Thursday nights, right around Big Bang Theory. They aren't exactly dropping it off the schedule. They held it for a while, but the time slot is good.

I've been to Alamo in Yonkers a few times and haven't found the service to be disruptive. I've honestly found servers at comedy clubs to be more distracting.

I was at the taping of a Mike Birbiglia Comedy Central presents special in 2004 or 5, and that's how we got the tickets. But more recently I've seen comedians like Hardwick, Moshe Kasher and John Mulaney direct their twitter fans to purchase tickets for their hour-long specials.

McShould Be Using His Real Accent? Is that one too wordy?

People still watch [one of the highest rated shows on television]?

Prior to DOMA being overturned, I've heard of lesbian couples where one mother carried the pregnancy that used the other mother's egg, and gay couples where they used the sperm of one and the egg from the sister of another, because surrogacy/biological links would give legal protection in the event that the couple

Upvoted for "McCreep."
When Owen was first introduced, I think on the Best Week Ever blog, someone suggested his name should be "Doctor McPuts His Wang in Doctor Yang" and I'm really sad that never took off.

Totally fair. And my point should have been that the connection between the people who did the movies seemingly being the only ones "surviving" is more that those are the people who are better off financially: They likely left with more money and were able to keep money coming in.
I remember reading a few years ago

I was so happy that Linda McMahon lost her Senate bids, especially with one of her commercials talking about how she brought hundreds of "good" jobs to Connecticut.

But how few Rocks and John Cena's are there compared to the entire roster? Do they all get a cut of their merchandising, or is it only for the superstars who can leverage that into their contracts?
We see it constantly, guys who were mid-level bounce around the independent circuits for a while, they don't have the

Do they still consider all of their wrestlers contract/independent employees so that they don't have to provide proper healthcare and benefits?

Probably because they make so little money through their WW(F)E contracts, that they need to do movies in order to maintain an income and pay for healthcare once they stop wrestling. Those who aren't as popular and fortunate to get that money likely have a harder time taking care of themselves.

Thank you.

There was an article I read recently. I'm not sure if it was in the NY Times or if I saw it on twitter somewhere, but it was essentially what you're describing. Heartbreaking stuff.

Have you seen Showtime's Time of Death? Beautiful, complicated and utterly heartbreaking. They followed a few different people and there's one in particular that absolutely gutted me.

I cried in the first 5 minutes, then was foolishly lulled into thinking the devastating part was over.

I thought the comment was more about the makeup. But it is hard to be completely captivated by it when Violet's was 100x's better.

I never saw the last breath line as heavy foreshadowing that Michael was going to die young. At the time, I thought it just meant that Michael would pine for Jane the rest of his life, but am going with an EXTREMELY naïve interpretation that doesn't have Michael's death happening anytime soon!
