I'm hopeful for Trevor, but I'm a little concerned that the studio audiences haven't been responding to his pieces very well. I hope that he and the writers will be able to find a way to have his POV resonate a little more closely with what the audience has been used to for so long, at least at the start.

Fair enough!

Bummer. I feel like Snatch Game is when I start to really separate all the queens in my mind. I'm still having trouble keeping track of which boy is which queen. It's especially difficult as so many of them haven't shown any discernible personality yet.

Ugh, Violet. She's so pretty and so fucking unlikeable. And not even in a rage-inducing, hate-watching way like Roxxxy or Phi Phi.

I wonder if I'd still remember it as being *so bad* if it weren't up against Latrice's unbelievably amazing performance.

Thanks for the tip. I'll keep that in mind!

How would that be any better than taking up a spot in Outstanding Comedy?
And I think it's more a question of tone than quality.

Yes, he's more important if they were staying truer to the source material. I didn't totally hate him, and I think there's some value to the experience of the people left waiting at home, but I understand why they dropped the story.

I couldn't actually find it on Netflix when it was first released. It wasn't on the banner with the shows they're heavily promoting, it wasn't under new releases or in my suggestions. I had to just search for it. It might be different if they produce a second season, but I get not wanting to put all that advertising

I get that. And I agree with what you said elsewhere on the thread, that this show is more of a drama with comedic elements.
I think a third category would be good so shows like OITNB and Transparent are judged against each other, and not compared to Breaking Bad or The Good Wife.

Eh, there are some shows that are clearly comedies, Big Bang Theory, Mom, Modern Family, and others that are clearly dramas, House of Cards, Game of Thrones, Scandal.
But Jane the Virgin and OITNB (and probably more that I just can't think of right now) fall more in the middle of our traditional definitions of those

I don't think we're too far away from seeing a dramedy category.

The show is way too good for the crappy ratings it gets.

How dare a comedian I like get a steady paycheck and national exposure!

Holy crap, I hadn't even thought about that. That distinguished title would go to About a Boy, since it's already aired most of its second season at this point.

They'll probably be a bit star-struck.

uh, okay.

If it's early in the game, and it's a long puzzle, buying an E makes sense to me. But when it's late in the puzzle and you buy the one O that's on the board, and then solve the puzzle? That's just throwing $250 out the window.

Contestants buying a vowel when they clearly know the answer to the puzzle annoys the shit out of me.

Or when someone gave a reasonable response, but forgot that it was a themed category, so Alex feels the need to tell them. It happens like, 3-4 times a week.
