I hope you guys get to cover The J.V. Club with Maria Bamford next week. It was a particular highlight in what I find to be an extremely enjoyable podcast.

It's fun when Doug has a guest like Anna Kendrick, who isn't known as a comedian, but who is clearly very funny, and completely on board for everything. Way better than the actors who take themselves too seriously!

I've always found his stand-up to be legitimately funny, and especially funnier than what I've heard from Meyers recently. Plus, he helped give the world Stefon, so I'd be okay with that move.

I still love every time an ad for a movie is literally on top of the AV Club review panning that movie. Bonus points when both are using the same picture!

I had zero interest in seeing this movie, and then the theatrical trailer piqued my interest a bit, mainly because I unironically enjoy Russell Brand (or at least, enjoyed). And then Katy Perry has not. shut. the. fuck. up. about the divorce in the past few months.
Couple that with that fact that while she writes some…

Personally, I don't think so. The lines get blurred between non-scripted and reality programming, but Mythbusters is a far cry from anything else I'd call reality programming.

Completely agree with everything. Maybe Apatow/Mann and Stiller/Taylor are the exception that prove the rule!

Ehh, then Leslie Mann is a gambler. Ben Stiller was pretty famous when they married, but Leslie Mann and Judd Apatow met when they were doing The Cable Guy, which was very early on in his career.

It bugs the SHIT out of me. Being a neat freak or germaphobe does not make you "totally OCD." Shut the fuck up. XOXO, someone who's spent a long time and a lot of money treating OCD.

In addition to terrible lipsynching, bad accents, driving while constantly turning the steering wheel all the way to the left and then all the way to the right, misuse of the word "irony" or "OCD" will drive me nuts. Actually, since the word "irony" is so misused, any use of it takes me out of the scene while I replay…
