I'm actually not sure when it comes back… if it will take a little while, I'll be happy. If it airs in January again, I should have a few weeks where other shows are in re-runs to not go crazy!

I watch on HBOGO anyway, so it's not so much the DVR as the fact that I want to watch all four of those shows the night they air for watercooler/AV commentary benefits.

I'm sure it will be. I think that's my overall complaint of Karen as Marilyn vs. Ivy (besides everything else). Karen's voice is too pop-Broadway, while Ivy is just legit Broadway. It fits Bombshell better.

I'm totally fine with Don't Trust the B and Happy Endings moving to Tuesdays — although Wednesdays is generally a bit more deserted on my DVR, I'll survive.

They needed a recognizable name to carry this show. Yes, even Debra Messing and Angelica Houston aside, the true focus of the show needed to be a name. Megan Hilty is amazingly talented, but unknown outside of the (relatively) small Broadway community. Katharine McPhee is not quite as talented, but still very well

If the scene went like this:
Julia: I haven't thrown up since I was pregnant with Leo
Tom: Wait.. Julia…are you?
Julia: Oh, god no, did you forget the hysterectomy, Tom?

The last song was good if it were on it's own and not supposed to be the end of the musical we've been seeing all season. It was completely incongruous to the other songs that completely fit into the Broadway sound. I'm not against pop-Broadway by any means, but consistency, people!
As much as I'm hate-watching this

I agree. Initially, knowing Brian May was behind the idea made me happy with it (happier than most of the rumors behind possible replacement singers did), but you're right, this is the sort of over-the-top showmanship that probably would have been incorporated into their performances anyway if Freddie were still

part that and probably part the lure of syndication. Fun fact, reruns of The Big Bang Theory KILL most original programming in cable. There's a lot of money to be made all around in syndication.

according to closed captioning, it's just spelled kewt.

Pretty much what @avclub-5c7646b1d39fc0715f330479e4e5f254:disqus said. I checked TVline's renewal scorecard, outside of CW (which I don't consider a real TV network anyway), decisions have been made on pretty much everything, nothing too controversial.

Holy crap. I can't believe how happy NBC and ABC have made me today. It's almost like my life lacks significant meaning and purpose outside of television.

Head to cable, my friend.

I have, although I keep falling asleep in the middle. Just too much else to watch on Thursdays. I'm enjoying it way more than Private Practice or Off the Map (although that one did pick up, but it took a LONG time to do so).

I know it won't be mentioned until next week's podmass, but I was kind of bummed listening to Craig Ferguson on Maron. I've read "American on Purpose" (which was amazing, as was "Between the Bridge and the River") and realized it was pretty redundant. So… no more reading, I guess?

I have actually only seen the first few episodes of Friday Night Lights. I enjoyed it, but I wasn't much into appointment viewing then (and was in college). However, Friday Night Lights will be my summertime, Netflix subscription justification viewing.
I'm glad the show is over just for the sake of my comment about

Leslie and Ben are the best, most realistic couple on TV right now.
Amy Poehler needs an Emmy. And she needs to host the Emmy's.
I really hope NBC gives this show a full 22 episode pickup. None of this 13 episode bullshit.
Also, my biggest/only complaint with this show is that Retta is SO underused. I hope that next

At any given time, they still have up to 3 different campaigns going. They also spend RIDICULOUS amounts of money in advertising every year. I think something like over $500 Million just on cable in one year.

It's been decided. When it's time for children, the nursery will have a WTWTA theme.
I'm terribly sad that he passed, but also very grateful to know more about him right now than I ever have. Reading today about his outlook on children and children's literature, and how he saw no reason to pander to children, make me

I would have guessed Rosie.
