This may shock you, but sweatbands, when not serving a purpose as a fashion accessory, help keep sweat out of your eyes. Useful for me? Nah. Useful for someone whose profession is professional basketball? Yep. Plus, if last year's Finals were any indication, the thing might actually be holding him back.
