Ooh, I forgot about "MyDeathSpace", or whatever they called it.
Ooh, I forgot about "MyDeathSpace", or whatever they called it.
This week in "The Good Wife takes on youth culture and technology": stoplight parties and smartphone rape apps.
Ahhhhh, I totally remember that cocaine one! I read it in 4th grade and at the time thought it was the best book ever. In fact, I remember excitedly explaining the whole plot to my Catholic school teacher, and her recoiling in horror at what kids these days were into.
Yeah, Remember Me had the girl who was murdered by the girl with whom she was switched at birth. And her ghost became involved with her dead high school crush's ghost. And her murderer was involved with her brother, who was really the murderer's brother, because of the whole switched-at-birth thing. INCEST. And then…
As in the mop-haired, bespectacled cousin of the Brady's?
Ken! Cosgrove! Accounts!
Interesting how neither Alicia nor her daughter seem to have any friends at the moment.
The whole time Nolan was in Lydia's apt I was screaming at the TV, "Wear gloves, dummy!" I wonder if there will be any ramifications from that.
That's the thing about this show: you KNOW that Cee Lo's gonna come back the next day, because things always work out for this family, but when it happens, you're still totally charmed. Also, could Drew's gf be any more of a "indie" cliche? "It's like The Decemberists meets Wild Horses." Gag. Glad Joel got something…
Like the reviewer, I too thought that the innocent man was gonna end up going to jail because of Lockhart-Gardner cost-cutting. I'm a little disappointed that didn't happen, as I do love this show's cynicism, but ultimately, the warm & fuzzy "Will & Diane agree to be better people" ending helps me sleep better at…
Poor Will's gonna get his heart broken, I think.
Loved that Amanda/Emily spotted the book The Count of Monte Cristo on the therapist's shelf. Nice little callback to the source material.
I love this show, and all the political/legal/personal drama, but good God they do not know how to write teenagers or teenage culture. It's like your dad who discovers trends a year too late. Wow, violent video games! Random subway dancing! Seriously, who acts like that tutor girl? And don't get me started on that…
Anytime a swing song made it to the charts, it baffled me. Stray Cats/Brian Setzer Orchestra, Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy…it's like, every 10 years or so, people remember swing music exists, decide they love it, and then after a few months forget all about it. I blame Vince Vaughn.
Awww I actually liked this show. She was pretty annoying, but the other people- her bf, son, the weird hippie that lived in her yard- were funny.
I've been watching reruns of The Old Adventures of New Christine lately, and it's actually quite amusing. Julia Louis-Dreyfus does neurotic selfish middle-aged woman well (she's much more palatable than Courteney Cox in Cougar Town)
Damn, Gina!
Coming to America!!!
Headphones Have Made Me Maladjusted And I Love It
Whenever I'm outside by myself, I listen to my iPod via earbuds. I love the ability to block out all other sounds and just focus on the music. A few months back, my iPod broke and I was forced to hear all that ambient noise which I had previously blocked out- traffic,…
