To artists with a quick rise,I'd add Lena Dunham.  A filmmaker whom I regarded with skepticism, but have quickly come to realize is indeed a great talent, but one who needs to remain grounded.  I fear her sudden rise to prominence, topped by her recent multi-million dollar book deal, could work against her in the long

I can imagine that Big Pharma would have a thing or two to say about medical marijuana.  They have a vested interest in curtailing it's use, so hospitals will continue pushing their meds and painrelievers onto sufferers.  Naturally occurring remedies that people can grow

Yeah, it was a commercial, but at it's heart was a plea for empathy.  I felt that it was communicating a what-if scenario…what if this was your spouse in pain, and her meds aren't helping, but marijuana might.

Well today should be the day the notifications go out (they said by the 22nd), and unless they're working on Thanksgiving, today should be the day. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!  Good luck to everyone who entered.

I appreciated its energy. It had an expressionist quality to it. And the camerawork was very nice, especially compared to so many films which are dimly flatly lit and rather shaky. If anyone involved in the production is reading this, what camera did you use?

The climax to the "getting the pot" mission, where Adam administers it to Kristina, I think was one of the most tender, loving, intimate moments I've seen on television.  I hope that's not sounding like hyperbole.  It's my honest feeling.

Jesus Christ that plot sounds fucking awful…it should fit right in with the Simpsons episodes of the last three or four years.

Yeah but that guy also got beaten pretty badly, and she tried to betray him first.  All she had to do to squeal was have her kids be threatened, while he endured a lot more personal hardship, and in the end it felt just desserts when he got a chance to eliminate a duplicitous former comrade.

I think for me it's her motives.  She's done a hell of a lot of harm simply for the sake of saving her kids.

I never thought I'd see the day I'd hate an Elizabeth Mitchell character, but I think she's worse than Charlie.  I mean, I get General Monroe, because he's acting along the lines he's supposed to for a dictator.  But Mitchell's character is supposed to be better than that.  Instead, she tries to screw over an ally by
