Or wish they did.
Or wish they did.
I think that was the first show I hate-watched, when I was 11 or so. Even my mom joined in, she especially laughed over how ridiculously perfect and whitebread the family was even by sitcom standards.
Ahem, downvoters? That's an MST3K reference, so direct your downvotes to them, not Whovian.
People used to laugh more then. There were concerts in the park…
I was going to suggest Jennifer Connelly's character in Phenomens/The Creeps, then I remembered she just controls bugs.
@Don Staples Except he does do something original, a webcomic called Dresdan Codak. Plus heaven forbid someone wants to have a little fun with characters they love.
Eh, the last year or so wasn't quite so bad - I really liked the Frozen Face-Off special - but it's very hit or miss. The cruelty seems to have toned down, but still too much gross-out humor.
Oh my god, who gives a SHIT!
@Prole Hole I think it depends on anticipation. At the time Tomb was built up so much, but as I wasn't part of fandom then when I did see it I enjoyed, if just not as much as Mind Robber or War Games. Web has been built up so much even I thought it just looked okay from the preview, while Enemy looked more interesting…
EDIT Nah, not worth it.
@I Will Probably Forget This Quote There was a back-up in either an annual or the 50th issue of X-Factor where Loki in his Acts persona tries to recruit Apocalypse, and Apocalypse sees through it and tells him how stupid his plan is.

@paraclete_pizza:disqus To use my own fandom as a barometer, if I hated Moffat's Doctor Who, which I don't - I like it but it barely makes top 5 and
thus will probably be pushed out by latter eras (though said latter era could be Capaldi, which will at least for the first series be Moffat's) - but even if I did I would…
I liked the 90's version, so I'll give it a chance despite joking it looks like The CW's Doctor Who based off the cast.
I want Black Gallagher to pop a cap in all of them.
Torchwood beat them to it.
They finished the second season, but it's only available through their DVD club.
It took my best friend - an even bigger Young Ones fan, she introduced me to it - years to appreciate Mike, and how well Christopher Ryan played the straight man to the others while still getting some good laughs of his own.
Cotton Candy?
Some friends and I were going to make a movie that was basically Kids with a supernatural undertone.Given the crap MTV got for the Skins remake, it's good we didn't, though IIRC even back then we were aware enough to know "those" scenes would have to be simulated. My main issue was making the TV character I'd play and…
