Well, I spent the night losing 10 years of my life watching my 49ers give up a 28 point lead to the Pats only to eek out a win in the end (huzzah!).  So, I'm way behind on the show and any comments I have to add would have to wait until tomorrow, when everyone would be fortunate enough not to see them.

Apparently a late-night viewing of the movie during a slumber party in her formative years was a (the?) particularly traumatizing event.  The shower scene in particular.  You can imagine my delight when I found it on YouTube.  It was pretty quiet in the house for a good week after that.  Totally worth it.

The reunions this year had an extra level of awful to them.  It's like the producers said "Hey, you all remember how squicky Colby and his mom's relationship was?  Yeah, we composed some extra-dramatic music this year, so we're gonna need you all to top that."

Maybe it's just my age (31, yikes!), but it's really striking to me how young the contestants are, especially the girls.  I don't think it was always that way in earlier seasons, and maybe this year is just a fluke, but does anyone with more knowledge about the dance world have any insight here?
