Like seriously - what is going on with Gravity Falls? Do they just air episodes randomly?

"They change the way normal people change, borrowing bits and pieces of themselves from over the years to create a Mega Man person."
Technically, Mega Man has to kill the robot master to "borrow" their "bits and pieces".
…that's something Ben would point out.

This episode felt off to me. Maybe because it felt so devoid of some of the most interesting elements - Elias, Root, Stanton, Snow, HR - didn't really advance on any of those fronts. I guess the past couple of episodes spoiled me - it's a testament to how great the show has gotten that I'm missing these elements and

To clarify, did you mean that some feel that P&R has reached a natural break point because Leslie had achieved one of her goals? It's a little ironic that she's been elected to office but never fulfilled that dream of building her park - which would be a more fitting end in some ways.

I love the new opening credits. Just the way Emerson delivers the monologue - "The government considers these people irrelevant. *WE DON'T.*" Plus proper recognition for Carter and Fusco.
A great episode - good blend of serialized elements along with the COTW.

Aziz Ansari killed the cold open - it's awesome how oblivious he is to the prosecutor who doesn't even have to try to get a conviction, and the quality of his tweets.

1. It sucks that there's no Gravity Falls merchandise available at the Disney Store.

They should do a Gravity Falls / Fringe cross-over episode. I would pay good money to see Walter animated as a character on Gravity Falls. Or the red-universe version of the Mystery Shack.
