Well, maybe it is odd. For some reason Resistance didn't sit well with me. It really felt like a last gen shooter with next gen graphics slapped on. I felt like I was getting more of a "drop" on guys in F.E.A.R. 2 than I did in Resistance. Probably the "choose your own cover" mechanic and A.I. in F.E.A.R. just

Raging Bear - I played Resistance after just playing F.E.A.R 2 and Call of Duty 4. Resistance does have some nice, wide open areas but they are essentially giant fishbowls. In most modern FPSs I've played, there are chokepoints but most corridor style segments have mulitple pathways through them. I'll grant you

Most Americans don't know dick about their health care coverage in specific situations. "What kind of care can my child get if he/she gets luekemia?" doesn't come up too much. Besides, the health insurance companies can afford to hire lots of lawyers to screw you over after you pay them for years. That's how they

Doesn't he go by Meth?
For short, not Method?

Then they immediately come out with something like the Motion Control Plus (which costs 20 bucks apiece) which reminds me why I despise my wii. Hell, just friend codes makes me nuts.

Also, I personally consider shooters to be "on rails" if you have no real strategic movement available in an area. Think Resistance: Fall of Man where all you did was walk from one narrow hallway into a closed in room full of guys, dispatch them all and repeat. The correct definition is the one above, like House of

Also, she's a woman pretending to be a man in a reversal of the classic movie set up.

…And baked her corpse? Harcore, man.

Throw a little ass to mouth in there….

I would get sick of zombies if they somehow gave 'em the Twilight treatment. Somehow try to make the shambling dead sexually attractive to teenage girls…

Trail Mix and Red Bull Sugar Free
That's the way to go. I know this to be true because I smoke fools on Left 4 Dead.

I was honestly surprised to see it's inclusion. That show is never gonna recover.

I've gotten friends of mine into music they never would have even heard before through Rock Band (Pixies, QOTSA). The way I look at it, it's like listening to an album/song taken to the next level. Of course it isn't as cool as really playing an instrument, but so what? Even trying to put together a decent cover

Plus, The Colour and Shape was released as DLC along with about 7 other Foo Fighters songs and five Nirvana songs. That's the way to do it, I tells ya.

It's so on, it's on twice.

Yeah, I bought two GH3 guitars to use to play Rock Band. The raised fret buttons are huge to me. It's the drum compatability that blows. I also agree about the need for more difficult but not just hyper fast/loud songs. Since I mostly play "drums" I always have Rush.

the compatability issues are lame both ways. To be honest, I wish one or the other would die off already. Obviously I'm hoping for that to be GH.

This might be a double post! Yee Haw!

I dunno. I spent at least the same amount of money as you did on individual songs that you spent on discs. I guess the only advantage is that I get to pick the songs I like. At this point, I'm commited to Rock Band because of my money investment in songs.

I will Rock Band: The Beatles. Probably as a rental though, unless I see "A Day in the Life" on the set list.
