I'm sorry that Kyle Mooney is so precious to you that you feel the need to protect him but the fact is you are 100% wrong.

Guess when Steve Brule started as a character.

You haven't seen enough I guess. The characters are identical except Kyle Mooney is a horrible, unfunny version of it.

You should try watching Check It Out! with Dr. Steve Brule, the show that that segment was an exact ripoff of, except they did it poorly.

Between "Inside SoCal" and his terrible blatant ripoff of Steve Brule
this week, Kyle Mooney has gone from new cast member with the most
promise to pretty much worst person on the show in my book. SHAME ON
YOU, AV CLUB WRITER, for previously suggesting the last 5 minutes of
every episode be given to him.

I literally finished watching all of S1 again just a few days ago, and I can tell you for a fact that just isn't really true.

You're just mentioning small bizarre things that happened in episodes that were focused on the larger plot. S1 was EASILY the most straightforward.

I don't know if you've seen the first season recently (and I'm not saying this in an accusatory way, I swear), but I marathoned 2 THEN 1 and the change in cinematography is pretty shocking. I feel like Asylum is when they really got crazy and experimental with the camerawork which is yet another thing I'm a sucker for

It's hard to read what you're getting at since I just said Murder House was average…did you like it? I don't think my stance on it is crazy at all, I've seen/heard certainly more than a few people say that about the first season.

Misty's been my favorite character for a while and this episode continued to prove it, at least with that scene. She's a badass — screw magic, she'll kick the hell out of you if need be

"Let's not forget that the Axeman has been killed in exactly the same way TWICE."

You seem like the kind of person who isn't aware opinions other than their own exist. That must be fun for you!

No, Murder House was just average, and Asylum wasn't a mess, it was genius. This season is a mess, but an enjoyable one, to me.

See, I love this season for all its messiness. Yeah almost every episode resets things back to the status quo. It's probably a problem! I don't care. When Axeman/Saxman/Sexman suddenly charged at the girls and Queenie said something like "Now who's THIS asshole?" I laughed out loud, because it's the writers even

Solid A, B+? episode. Also, if your prediction about next season is right, that's almost exactly what I predicted/hoped they would do after I watched Asylum.

…um, yeah, that article is the reason I asked the question. How does that help?

That's essentially exactly the plot I was dreaming of while watching the alien parts of Asylum! I mean I loved that season in its own insane way but I'd love to see Ryan Murphy's weird-ass take on alien horror.

So, anyone see the supposed hint as to what next season will be about?

Well now I don't even know which of the two you're referring to.

I only know about this show from this review and the tons of ads I've been seeing for it, but I think from what I've read it's gotta go for the I, Robot (with Will Smith) twist at some point - KARL URBAN IS ACTUALLY PART ROBOT
