My only problem with SuperEgo is that it's so long of a wait for, what? ~20 minutes of funny, not counting the credits?

I can't make it through that episode without rewinding that bit five or six times. It's one of those moments where the show goes from amusing silliness to an entire new level of inspired absurdity.

Calvin & Hobbes is my all-time favorite comic, but I can't get enough of the relentlessly literal, humorless summaries below the dialogue for each strip.

I think the "analyst/therapist" joke is my single favorite gag from the entire series. Rewatching the episode, though, I always think it's a bit over-delivered. It would play better for me if it were trimmed down, Tobias giving just the "an analyst and a therapist" line, cutting to the business card, then skipping to

I liked this episode, but not nearly as much as expected given how long I've been waiting to see Jonathan Banks. His character got some good moments (the Twizzlers comment, and the stare-down with Ron, although the latter didn't ever really go anywhere), but he generally wasn't much more than a generic "tough dad."

I admire how cleverly the writers pulled off the Rita story arc, I just don't *like* the arc all that much. I guess because the theme that it adds in is serious enough that it draws me out of the episodes - I'm not really offended by it or anything, it just doesn't quite sit right with me.

Pink Floyd's "Animals" has just been dethroned from its position as my all-time favorite cover art.

I thought punk was (in many ways) a reaction against a lot of the ideas of prog rock, making "prog-punk" a bit of a contradiction in my mind.

Well, that was a turd of a movie. I was hoping for more based on the review - when the film was slow and brooding (the first ~20 minutes?) it was good, but it just become hilariously stupid when around the time the goth face started appearing and the tone switched to more typical jump scares. The music was pretty
