I wish they would hurry up and put number 2 on Netflix so I can just watch the parts with Paul Giamatti.

Dave Matthews is still together if I'm not mistaken, and they've been waiting years to win @avclub-213aac604c535d3193d0e77427bfa34f:disqus back.
The joke is that they have a song called One Great City! and the chorus goes "I Hate Winnipeg" (apologies if you already knew that and were just making a joke of your own).
You're not missing much. Their live show is basically just a louder version of their albums.
That's essentially where we are. If you cannot save the 5% downpayment the chartered banks are not allowed to lend to you. The Provincially regulated credit unions, however, don't have the same restrictions so you just borrow off them. So they eliminated the 0% down mortgage in 2008 but technically it still exists.
Um, up here in Canada you only need 5% and the bank will actually lend you the down payment. There's a reason Vancouver is the second most unaffordable city in the world (don't worry, it's different here. It's different this time).
Green Lantern, RIPD, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and The Change-Up, plus a bunch of unknown indies, and the man keeps getting work. They will never, ever stop trying to make Ryan Reynolds happen.
I think that's my major issue with him - I think he's got interesting ideas but he's only capable of writing in one style: Chuck Palahniuk. And that style is a poor imitation of the sparse but emotionally resonating writing of the likes of Hemingway and McCarthy. Just my two cents, but I disappear up my own ass…
I actually think Fight Club is an important and culturally relevant book, despite being poorly written. But everything else I've read of his just seems clunky and pointless, like an art student's imitation of Salvador Dali.
I like the literalism of it though. "The Enron Fraud Scandal", "The Nortel Fraud Scandal", "the Two Illegal Wars Built on Lies Scandal". Like let's just cut to the point here.
No shit! Like we aren't we calling this the Grande Scandal of the Century!
Haven't you heard the noose? Pun gags are hanging by a thread around here.
This seems to prove Fight Club was a fluke and Palahniuk is a one-note hack.
We'll agree to disagree.
Meh, the origin of blackface was brutally racist because it viciously characterized black people. I have trouble being horrified that he put on some skin toner to look more latino. It's not like he did it to dress up as a gardener or something.
Early 80's Eddie Murphy would have been so fun in Ghostbusters.
How does it predict 9/11? And unless your email ends in .gov I do expect results.
I keep forgetting this is technically the fifth installment. I recall virtually nothing about the fourth one.
That happens pretty early in the movie though. It's a bit of a spoiler but it's not like a 'he was dead the whole time' sort of giveaway.
Well maybe you can pass on my idea?
