I think that's my major issue with him - I think he's got interesting ideas but he's only capable of writing in one style: Chuck Palahniuk. I actually think Fight Club is an important and culturally relevant book, despite being poorly written. But everything else I've read of his just seems clunky and pointless, like an art student's imitation of Salvador Dali.
