What can you say about a sci-fi movie in which one of the peak moments of tension revolves around whether Ethan Hawke can cross a busy highway without his contact lenses?

As much as I like the guy, I find that a lot of Soderbergh's movies don't stand up to repeat viewing. Once you get your bearings on the twisty structures and editing, the holes really stand out (Traffic, Contagion, Side Effects, and The Informant!)

I'll send you $5 a month if you won't stand by the forced laughing. Five dollars. Cash money. Think about it.
1. He claimed the guy had a day job as a waiter, tried unsuccessfully to mine that observation for comedy, then said he might've been wrong about it being Rufio at all because he was drunk when he saw him.
Word, Murray.
I agree with the first part but have too much self-esteem to go along with the second.
