I'm not exactly anti-appropriation, or the farthest left on the AV Club discussions, and the offensiveness of the term is questionable, but someone who isn't roma going by the name is like if Nightcrawler changed his superhero name to Jew, it's just confusing and strange.

I mean, Twin Peaks.

At a certain point you just have to accept as a given that Trump will continue to insult people, you can't be shocked every time. And of these insults that are more statements than opinions, I'd much rather he say "you had a facelift" than "you're hiding your real birth certificate" or "your dad killed JFK".

He makes comments about appearance in general. He called a man "sleepy eyes", another a slob, he said Ben Sasse “looks more like a gym rat than a U.S. Senator”and that Obama“looks and sounds so ridiculous”. Appearance-based insults are a core part of his repertoire. He made fat jokes about Chris Christie at Christie's

I'm not sure that comment from Trump was sexist, to be honest. Weirdly insulting and probably lying, sure, but that's the baseline for Trump. "Says horrible things about someone for little to no reason" is Trump's default setting, to say he's being a sexist for just that is like saying a tiger's a sexist for eating a

I don't know. She's strange, but I've never seen a Black Lodge spirit act as skittish and confused as she did. It wouldn't surprise me if she were a human with a lodge-influenced past, like Briggs or Log Lady, but I doubt she's a full-on spirit.

If anything, Punisher's enemies are disproportionately white, especially given his traditional opposition to the mafia.

Also, if the Saint is just immune, that sort of throws his whole God plan into question, doesn't it? He's planning to use the voice on him, but if it doesn't work on the Saint maybe that's a dumb idea.

It's crazy that when I compare them to the comic characters, I like Cassidy and Herr Starr at the end of the series more than I do Jesse and Tulip in the show.

I do hate how the Saint's MO seems to be "shoot everyone EXCEPT Jesse Custer, the man I'm actually trying to kill, and just let him run away".

People can like an adaptation while thinking some of the changes are a mistake.

On top of all that, maybe this is petty, but I just think his haircut is awful.

And if people feel uncomfortable skipping Twin Peaks scenes, they can just watch the second act of Lost Highway, it's basically the same thing.

"Some spirits are good, some are malevolent" is by no means a concept exclusive to Judeo-Christian stuff, and the contrast between the White and Black lodges goes back to the original series. I mean, Fire Walk With Me ends like this. https://www.youtube.com/wat…

I'm still not convinced they're the same person. That woman seemed unnerved and harmless, not like these things. Plus, unless I'm mistaken the hobos are all men.

People liked this episode, mostly. Not many people went "man, I sure love that Twin Peaks season 3, but that was too surreal and dark".

But it hatched from the speckled eggs that came with BOB.

I got the impression that Bob was released as a response to the bomb, not that he was in it to start with. Plus, that thing hatched from an egg that looked like the ones Bob was with, and it seemed like it might be cooperating with the woodsmen.

I'm not convinced. We saw the egg that thing hatched from, and the black orb of BOB, they looked pretty different.

Donald Glover and Chevy Chase leaving Community? That guy who left Coupling?
