Discrimination is discrimination, even if it's not hugely significant I'm still opposed to it.

"Then you would be going to a gym that has little to offer you just to prove a stupid point"- or because it would be a convenient, nearby gym.

This isn't a reservation by a group of women, this is the theater deciding to only sell tickets to women.

Denying service to someone based on their gender? Seems like a pretty textbook case to me.

You don't need to be a regulator to know whether or not discrimination by gender is a crime.

Turns out, sometimes people get annoyed by sexism, who knew.

So exactly how inconvenient does discrimination have to be for you to be against it?

What if I did want a membership at Curves? What if it's the closest and nicest gym in my area?

But "separate but equal" would still have been terrible even if the conditions were actually equal, that's his point.

"No members of this group are allowed in" is pretty textbook discrimination.

Because gender is a protected class, looking like a pirate isn't.

So would that bakery have been fine if they only refused to bake cakes for gay people sometimes?

"The Alamo Drafthouse can hold a screening for whomever they want!"- can they? I feel reasonably certain that if they tried to do something like a whites-only screening it would definitely be a crime.

Because clearly, the only reason discrimination would bother someone is if they're insecure and have small genitals.

"I'm against discrimination" isn't a statement that requires you to have the legal power to punish it.

Discrimination doesn't stop counting if it's not that inconvenient. If a McDonalds put up a sign banning black people, that wouldn't be suddenly okay if another, non-racist McDonalds opened up a block away.

If an airplane refused to let you board on the basis of your gender, that sounds like it would be illegal.

Why does wanting equality make someone a creep?

If the thing he's not giving up on is "providing accurate information", then I'm fine with it.

"Marketing gimmick" and "Discrimination" aren't mutually exclusive.
