Yes, this. I hate him. Joe is easily the most irritating character on TV right now. I just want the show to kill him off and focus on Roderick or something.

Am I supposed to believe that every single one of them has read Joe's craptastic book? Surely, some of them read the reviews and thought, 'Fuck that shit. I just want to kill people.'

Every week I think I'm checking out, yet every week I end up watching it.

The music playing during the scene made it clear that it was A Very Important Moment, but I don't think anyone involved - writers, actors, directors - had any idea why.

I'm kind of hoping that Jacob and (a miraculously still alive) Paul try to foil Joe's idiotic master plan.

Exacty. I mean, even if Joe wasn't a serial killer, wouldn't you buy a gun at the prospect of having to spend more than two seconds with him and his ridiculous yammering? Come on, Olivia.

There was that moment when Olivia opened the trunk with Joe in it and I hoped she would shoot him in the face, but, sadly, no. Because he is a serial killer who's already had some guy cut off two of her fingers and now that he's out of jail he doesn't need her anymore, but she's done everything he asked, so clearly

I immediately thought of that chapter in Malcolm Gladwell's Blink too. Pretty awesome.

I know the writers are going for super-charismatic, intelligent and
dangerous with Joe, but what I’m getting is pathetic, pretentious and annoying.
