Homage to Patch Adams natch.

The timing made sense, Lindsay had done the rounds with the main cast freaks, and the hippies were a new rebellion. I know all this from experience.
Could you put the correct Q further down in your posts, not right next to the A? Thanks for doing these recaps, by the way.
Geez, this looks worthy, epic melodrama from the Spanish Civil War to WWII, based on a hit book "El tiempo entre costuras", got 6m viewers the first night in Spain. Trailer with subtitles here: http://www.deadline.com/201…
Well that's about right because it's not especially clear what are the politics of the real-world anarcho groups these scifi shows have been stylizing. I don't know the name of the trope, but it's become a staple of scifi set in the present or near-present (or time-traveled present): the occupy, anarchist…
Is that who made us switch to NuDisqus?
Hmmm, I've watched that episode twice in two years and have no real problem with it. I like Lost enough now that after a marathon I don't feel like watching anything current.
It was cool the psychic figured out they were *** with the diamonds - some preposterous amount of money though.
The emotional motivation is the protest right at the beginning with the Iranian security force in West Germany, but I guess you caught that (and that I am remembering it correctly). Both the film and the movement were more serious than the 1970s political terrorism in the U.S. Compare Patty Hearst and the Symbionese…
For Win8, get the free third party thing Classic Shell. It makes sure you stay in Desktop mode, and fixes a bunch of other stuff too, like turning off all gestures and making a Win7-style start button. I checked a bunch of reviews and it was in the top two of Win8 fixers, and I have been running it for a few months…

"Don't" at the start of the title was a bad idea. They were so concerned about the "B" part that they overlooked the "n't" part.
Baseball - they really need to point the camera somewhere else until the batter squares up. For me a pitchers' duel is one of the best games, but I have no interest in pro-wrestling levels of posturing by batters. Not to mention the four hours. You don't get a lot of analysis of the defensive setup these days either.
Alison came to mind when I read a Washington Post article about orange slices at soccer games. http://www.washingtonpost.c…
Finished Lost, a very unfun last season. Overall I'm fine with the techy and spirity stuff from all six seasons, but the learning lessons in the last season are pretty insulting. I have a high tolerance for sentimentality, but not smugness. (I can tolerate Highway to Heaven but not the church scene in Lost.) And was…
Several years ago when she was 17, the NYT called her a "gawky swan." So just imagine a taller Leann Rimes.
Use two browsers.
Thanks that's great. I'm thinking of a few accents - the famous Tangier Island, VIrginia, accent is called "Elizabethan" and sounds a lot like your clip: http://www.youtube.com/watc…
Then there is at least one county on the Chesapeake Bay considered very Welsh in origin & accent, and then there are the Atlantic…
