I thought it was National Socialized Strike Force: United Kingdom: Double Decker Bus: too but then I thought, that's Nazis. So I rewatched and it was Socialized National Strike Force: United Kingdom: Double Decker Bus:. Thank goodness. The oil painting was great.

And a Chevy Corvette. Sponsor-geddon.

Nerdgasm alert, Martin Starr on Hawaii Five-0. And they just destroyed the giant Win8 tablet.

Pothos, the resilient houseplant.

I anticipate V.G. running all the procedural shows at CBS. A much deeper Hawaii 5-0, a brighter funnier Blue Bloods ,an absurdist Criminal Minds, a depraved NCIS, a time-traveling Hostages, a bad wife Good Wife. A scummier Mentalist.

Well, that tertiary from last season, who worked at the songwriting house, ended up big on S.H.I.E.L.D.

Sons of Anarchy was on too. Even though it's too violent to enjoy, it deserves a lot better than a C+, compared to a lazy episode of New Girl (B+). I hear you, there's not much real story out there.

And it looks pop enough to stick around.  There was plenty of candy for the channel surfer, as opposed to Dollhouse. And a deeper mythology, and though Whedon still tends towards the fetishization of corporations/governments, there's a lot outside the steely confines as well in this one. Still not Firefly though.

Try this: Linda Ronstadt's grandfather invented the toaster, and the flexible ice tray. Then he spent his vast toaster fortune trying to find a cure for his dying wife. Still think t's are boring?

@avclub-42763705844bf5e2af4abd6c898f8dcb:disqus Oh well at least they made a good preview. Guess I'll skip it.

Yeah I just threw that one in because it came out the same year and has a similar jep theme. I think Brdg. Fonda is the crazy one, for once giving JJL a break.,

I watched every CBS preview back in July, and The Crazy Ones was the only show that looked good. Robin Williams and the ad guy Bob Benson from Mad Men, yes that's a cheap insta-casting move, and yep, it's no longer accepted that Robin Williams is good in every other movie. Now people demand the right to say he is bad

And Jennifer Jason Leigh movies… SWF, Hudsucker, Rush.

Yeah she immediately turned into a good actor after that 'That '70's show' I guess. At least by Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

Kunis was not very good on that show, was she? They must all be rich from the residuals, that show is always on. And it would be OK without the laugh track.

@avclub-1b1f9a3e639ecc53f335314fc9d8403b:disqus Jealous, too: decent family, good grades, sexy and all that. But mainly sexy I thought.

It'll start when teenage boys refuse any girl not willing to dress like a mermaid and climb in his wet tank with him. Or vice-a-versa. The girls won't leave their bathtubs because it the best place to tap the neuro and watch the Bachelor.

Future generations will not understand why we submitted to the internet. Ten years ago children went outside. Ten years from now they won't even have feet. As soon as the brain hookup is perfected, we will evolve into helpless (but beautiful) merpeople.

What? In Toronto it's even more "oh", poh-poh. You're thinking of that city where the Expos used to play. That place is amazing, it keeps falling apart. It's where Bruce Jenner won the 1976 Olympics.

Great, MadMen can't be the only show capable of doing the early 60s and not getting cancelled.
