The AV Club makes no mention of entertainment news until it has been vetted by the Hollywood Reporter or Variety.

Do not eat the brown snark
I don't think this should be the subject of ridicule. I wish the organizers the best of luck.

And I also saw him open for Atom & His Package (in Atlanta). Same audience confusion, but jaw-dropping confusion. I saw him a few years after that open for Peaches at MJQ. The crowd savored his tighty-whitey schtick and was rewarded with a view of "just the tip."

    Appearance on Conan
I saw Ellen Page on Conan earlier this week. She told a story about how she went to Amsterdam with Shawcat & Tillmann, alluded to getting high, and then watched Theodore Rex (the buddy cop movie starring Whoopi Goldberg and a T-Rex).

I've got a better shoe name for her
    No-han

I did see the Dirty Projectors' performance on Fallon and it did rock. It was exponentially better than their Letterman performance.

    The Small Rewind
I saw a "ripped from the headlines" episode of Law & Order that borrowed the set up from the Diddy and J Lo nightclub shootings. It's hard to believe that episode aired nine years ago, back when I didn't care about pop culture anecdotes.

    BTS Album Covers
Forget about the quality of music. These are BTS's album covers from best to worst:

The same thing happened to me, staircar1. The last time I saw BTS, they played the song Joyride. Doug changed the lyric "I screwed her and she screwed me and we never once had sex" to "We never once had sex." Well now that's just a completely different song, Doug.

I like to think that the man who was in the bathroom all semester grew up to be Barack Obama.

Breakdown was great, but I think that Kurt Russell's performance in Death Proof outshines it.

Same here, Foosball. I'm fond of P&R, but haven't watched last night's episode yet.

    Weekly Survivor Hijack Thread
Parks & Recreation is great and all, but let's get back to Survivor. This season has the most outlandish cast I've ever seen. I'm not going to criticize anyone for their strategy, but the manipulation and trash talk has people bouncing off the [tree] walls.

    Whoa, Whoa, Whoa. Slow down.
Nina Persson is marred to Nathan Larson? Now that game of MASH that I played in 1996 will never come true.

    Stat
Number of times Miley touches her hair in the video: 14

    Fresh, like Brandon Routh.

I can guarantee that there will be a reality show competition to find the lead of the Broadway musical.

This week on The Rememberer, the Rememberer gives a speech at her best friend's funeral. (Part 1 of 4)

    No.
    Signed,
    The Forgeterer.

I think it was premeditated, Sarge. Boomboxes don't have instrumental rap versions of "Sugar Sugar" automatically queued up.
