I can't stand the song too but Frank Turner is a right wing arsehole who likes to spout his very badly thought out views on life whenever he gets interviewed. In short - he's a prick.

I think when you do a cover version, you should at least try and learn the song first.

Also, Phil Lynott's mother has requested that the GOP refrain from using "The Boys Are Back In Town".

Damn straight.

Yeah, I probably should've mentioned that Black City is one of my fave albums from the last couple of years and that I'm really looking forward to hearing this one. Even if this one only comes close to it, it'll be a magnificent album.

Erm… No mention of his last album, Black City, then? This seems to be natural follow on from it.

No, he fucks it up, like I said…

And for anyone wondering what Eszterhas thinks of the situation, here's this…

He's probably not wanting to have anything more to do with Alex James, as far as Blur are concerned. James has turned in to a shill for crappy fast food outlets and is quite pally with the UK PM and his mates. In short, he is a twat.

I quite enjoy a nice bit of electronic overproduction so I'm quite looking forward to hearing this. If it sounds anything like the track he did with Bomb The Bass, "Black River", then that's fine and dandy with me.

I'd say that a bigger pointer to their Roxy influence is their name, taken from the track of the same name off of Roxy's first album.

Thanks for the info!
