I sometimes re-write comments if I think it sounds better the second time I write it. I'm a freelance writer in real life. I am nuts with crafting language.

Tyler Perry isn't really good at what he does. It's not that he has a African American focus to his work. It's more craft related to me. I used to watch his sitcoms in the morning in syndication because there was nothing else on. Basically, a super awkward mix of drama, Christian messages, jokes and cheap sets and

Finally got it right.

Okay. At least you are straight forward.

Okay. Maybe it's not. I don't know. Entertainment figures (and religious ones as well) seem to have a double standard on this stuff.

Can we just all agree we should be watching the excellent "Carmichael Show" instead?

It's the new "Cosby Show"! Seriously, though, Larry Wilmore is very involved with "Blackish" and it's kinda baffling, considering his vile for Bill Cosby.

Society kinda pretends there wasn't anything about him. Sharing your bed with children and saying openly it's totally fine? Um….

It's a valid point.

Ah, I really like NBC's "The Carmichael Show" better. A thoughtful, adult sitcom with a African American cast is rare, and not just for African American casts, but sitcoms in general these days.

Well, Anthony Anderson has been accused of rape, and he's the star.

It's kinda a baffling choice for a guest star, considering his history.

Larry Wilmore, please.

Er, pick better heroes. Sure, these guys are fun screen presences and their scripts aren't horrible, but screenwriting heroes? Nah.

This was based on a cute and really short children's book. It sounds like they where scrambling to come up with a bigger back story which could fill up this film.

OMG! THAT SOUNDS AWESOME!

In all fairness, "The Muppets" wasn't a good show. It was just like they had scripts for a sitcom which never got made, and figured if they had Muppets randomly say these lines, it'll work!

Is she still friends with Tina Fey or did they have a falling out?

Hey, "ALF" wasn't half bad. The character of ALF himself was pretty great for a gimmicky sitcom, unlike say, "Small Wonder", which was a total WTF show.
