I appreciate your thumbs-up appraisal of Matthew Goode's Ozy. I think the hate going his way is unfounded and all due to the nearly total lack of Adrian back story, which I assume ended up on the cutting room floor and will be seen in director's and extended versions….which I'm looking forward to seeing.

To those up above with thoughts on CoD - The Movie, the project was in the works until unsettled disputes in pre-production - said to involve Toole's mother and other surviving family members - put everything on indefinite hold. Names attached at the time were David Gordon Green and John Goodman.

I agree with what danrimage says about Langella and Sheen, but if Mickey doesn't take Oscar I will weep.

Yes. He's usually down in N'awlins doing his own projects - like The Puffy Chair - with his brother. Seems he's stepped out to do some acting in other people's films.

Re: Dan's knowledge of women, I say wrong-o, Mr B. Hot guy on hot guy action is okay (arousing, even) by me. I also found Craig sexy as hell - and again, devilish - boinking a lumpy, plain middle-aged woman in The Mother.

Sidney Poitier.

I'd say from AFI's list Breaking Away, The Hustler, Bull Durham and Hoosiers are must sees for a hater of sports….with Breaking Away leading the pack.
