Watching Naz' descent into this hellish world is quite alarming, I have a feeling that when the last credits roll, I'll be in tears for the Khans.
I would have thought that the step father being the one to inherit would have been looked into long before this, but then again the DA/cops are So anxious to dump this on Naz, lets have tunnel vision and manipulate events to fit our imaginary scenario.
I agree, John Turturro owns it, totally and completely.
I have to say I love the weird twists and turns Mr, Robot take, the sitcom sequence was totally unexpected.
I seriously doubt that Chandra has a clue. Her status at this point is 'babe in the woods'. She seemed more puzzled than anything.
And Stone told him that if he got caught, he wouldn't/couldn't defend him. I don't see it as he should be more subtle.
Agreed, lets clear the slate and the truth be damned.
There is tons of subtle symbolism in The Night Of. Love it for this reason alone.
In TNO, who can we define as a good guy or a bad guy? They all seem to be bad guys to some degree, regardless of which side of the bars they sit on.
The only innocents that I can see to date are the Khan family and Naz's dad's partners. And they're all going to be very damaged by this.
She's beginning to get her 'street wise' education from Stone.
'xactly.
A self preservation tactic. Naz's experience may have uncovered something ugly and cruel in him that has been dormant, but I think part of what TNO is demonstrating is how the System turns people into soulless monsters. Crowe made a big point of that when she first stood in front of the judge with Naz.
One of the shots in the opening credits is of a broken chain falling.
Haven't heard that song for ages, but I'm recalling a line "Got to pick up every stitch…………."
I really didn't want to see that. I felt sorrier for Naz than the guy getting kicked half to death, though by shooting off his big mouth, he asked for it.
The brutalization has begun, sad to watch.
I was blown away, good and bad by this episode. I hate to see what is happening to Naz, even if he did kill Andrea. The ME's remarks regarding the cuts on Naz's hand, well, FU, dude.
Re watched last night's episode and I have to wonder if Joanna's guy is actually a figment of her imagination, she's nuttier than Eliot.
I suppose the irony of that was lost on him.
Did you forget the /s ?
