More callous and horrid every week.

Seemed like it was more mid process.

I looked up Hemlock on Wiki but I didn't find any indication of how fast acting it is. Andrew's death was almost instantaneous, No odor, no taste?

Before I even read the review, I have to say, how tacky, how convenient to lose Andrew at the end of the episode.Well, Joan got her out……but the Clyde scene was fun.

It seems that Mary's only interest in little George is as an heir that will keep her in the style to which she has become accustomed.

I really just wish that Edith take the bull by the horns, get the kid and get out of Dodge, go to her grandmother in America; pretend to be a widow if need be and having a writing career in New York.

I get the impression that the constable or whatever he is, just likes to come for tea. Not much else seems to be accomplished.

I loved to see her dressed to the nines in such an elegant gown.

Many, many high 5's for that. very amusing analysis.

I didn't recall that.

The detective that Kitty was meeting with at the beginning of the show was named Stanley Hopkins. He was occasionally included in the Arthur Conan Doyle stories. I've been wondering for sometime if we were ever going to meet him.

Oh, they are SO hurt by this banishment. Like they could care less.

The Edith points, x 10……..and there is a wedding somewhere down the line, who will it be???

Mary is a single note of cold self centeredness.
I really hope her story line will not be at the forefront, there are other characters with more compelling stories and more complex emotions….and
congratulations to Joanne Froggart fort her Golden Globe win.

Hammy and overwrought as usual, but that's why we watch.

True, but who the hell is he to dis on an invited guest of the Countess.

A real departure for Iwan, being the sweet Ash here and the despicable Ramsay Bolton on Game of Thrones.

Bates/Lange exchange was the most worthy part of the episode. Well, that and Frances' conversation with the shrink in the opening.

For all of us Clyde watchers.

She has guest star status, so to me that means she moves on eventually.
