Regarding the Borgias, although not our traditional vampires, they definitely were bloodsucking leeches on the Italian people. The Showtime series put a gloss and a patina on them they did not deserve.

Impressions to date: Costumes and sets are very good for TV,enjoy the Steampunk elements in the credits, amused by the shattering of the scrying mirror and the American accent is pretty bad.
Would have gotten an A if Clyde had shown up.
Recall how distressed she was about the water tanks, she was upset and angry.
I was put off by that too, then Herschel goes and collects elderberries to make tea, which have proven anti viral, immune supporting properties. The quest for the meds a red herring?
When he was surrounded by all the zombies, I'm going "no, no". Glad he made it out.
Elderberry is gonna be the right stuff…..Were there others of you that watched 'Talking Dead' and found it somewhat annoying?
I'm staunchly in Chalky's corner. Dr. Narcisse is an excellent, oily snake.
Everyone was great tonight.
Rabe's dress was so evocative of Stevie Nick's style of the '70's
Excellent review.
Much that was expected came to pass. Glad Lydia got hers, Wonderful final episode. Kudos to all involved. What will Jesse do?
Heartbreak all around.
This episode had some exquisite moments. The Doctor is a fine addition.
I was flabbergasted by the "Confession". It's getting hard not to hate Walter. Cranston does him so very well.
Been mashed up with Lovecraft.
Just a small reality check. Alphonso was attacked by several masked assassins (attributed to Cesare). Lucretia was nursing him back to health and he was recovering when Don Miguel (Micheletto) strangled him in his bed in the papal apt, definitely a Cesare move.
Actually the convergence of Machiavelli, Leonardo and Ceasare
I do believe the saying goes like this, "This myth of Christ has served us well". Not sure if that was Alexander or another Renaissance pope.
I have to agree that the Borgias is a fascinating show but I have to wonder if any of the viewers have actually ever read or researched this family beyond the series.
And she was several years older than he and had a reputation as a very naughty girl.
