That was funny, many good lines this episode.

Just happy that the prison sequences are finally out of the way. Welcome back, Mr. Bates.
How did Bates know about the soap? Glad to see someone stick it to O'Brien!
To BBC Sherlock it's just a tool he employs. No different than Doyle's Holmes would use a magnifying glass or microscope.
I thought this was the best episode to date, we got a real taste of Sherlock's psyche but I did look for Clyde. Clyde must come back.
Lord Grantham continues to be the biggest jackass in the cast but this week Carson really topped him. He's a prude as well as a snob.
I thought that this was the weakest episode so far but loved that Gregson punched Holmes and I do hope that Clyde will become a permanent cast member.
No. A journey has begun for her, She'll be able to put the regret and humiliation of being stood up at the altar behind her.
Absolutely agree with your last paragraph. Maggie Smith doesn't have to say a word to convey some powerful emotion.
Wow, what a zinger! I did not see that coming with Sybil! What will this mean for Tom and Baby Branson?
I remember that my grandmother had one of those and I remember using it to make toast.
Thought this episode deserved better than a D. Certainly less tedious the the previous two. Glad to see that Edith is finally going to get someplace to go.
sniff, sniff, it's over.
Will somebody get it that John Noble deserves an Emmy for Walter!
Ashcan cracked me up as did the floating Observers.
The White Tulip was appropriate.
There were things I didn't understand about the show sometimes but I will really miss the weekly Fringe fix. Sigh.
Could be red herrings to get us ginned up.
I hit like simply for your articulation of your thoughts, do agree with your last two paragraphs though.
I really wanted to take a bat to Sheldon's head. What a complete dope!
The Van Gogh. I just saw a comprehensive exhibit of his paintings last week and many of them are of the earlier, lesser known works. I was not aware of the Pieta at all and was stunned to see how beautiful it really is. That was the real high light for me.
