4/25/17 MOVIE TRIVIA RECAP
Round 1: General Knowledge – Who directed Cool Hand Luke? Probably not who you think (unless you’re a really big fan of Cool Hand Luke).
Round 2: Audio Round Fill in the Bleep, an audiovisual round. The bleeps weren’t because of profanity, but because they were famous lines that we should

Bow WOW.

69 inches

It's better than The BFG.

I started catching some screenings at Tribeca. First up was Psychopaths, which is kind of like Suspiria with serial killers. Then I got to some shorts, under the collective name "Last Exit," featuring appearances from Casey Wilson, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, and Fred Willard as a guy who eats popcorn out of a movie theater

Those might be my 3-5 (give or take a "Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design"). 2 is my favorite season, after all.

Not sure if this is a 100% accurate list, but at this very moment, these selections feel right.
Community, "Remedial Chaos Theory"
Stella, "Novel"
Arrested Development, "Fakin' It"
Seinfeld, "The Little Kicks"
Community, "Emotional Consequences of Broadcast Television"

"Is the- is it true, uh, that movie is, movies, movie magic?"

Oh, it very much is, but it's also a useful comparison.

So to recap, here's how I rank this weekend's wide releases:
1. Unforgettable
2. The Promise
3. Free Fire
4. Born in China
Phoenix Forgotten - Unfortunately couldn't track down a screening

MOVIE TALK TIME!!

Definitely the Oscars. Carrie-Anne Moss stole the show in Bye Bye.

Hey, I also thought it was better than Bitter Harvest!

Let's not forget Oldboy when he gobbled up all the scenery in a 1000-mile radius.

Most reviews have been positive, so maybe you should still give it a chance. I can see why people would like it, but I stand by the points that got in the way of my enjoyment.

I kind of remember liking it, but it wasn't really that noticeable. The sound mix favored much more the gunfire and a certain John Denver song played over and over.

4/18/17 MOVIE TRIVIA RECAP
Round 1: General Knowledge – The films directed by Forest Whitaker would make quite the triple feature.
Round 2: Audio Round – The latest set of Trailers, including one of my favorites of all time, courtesy of director Cameron Crowe and starring a certain Mr. Tom Cruise.
Round 3: Clip RoundSp

1>2>>>>3, didn't watch the rest

Took me a while to realize what Empire he was referring to. I kept thinking, "Do Cookie and Lucius not have any scenes together in Season 2?"
