I'm anticipating that, unlike Gossip Girl, this will not be a show in which Leighton Meester acts circles around everyone else, but I do anticipate that it will be a show in which she acts on the same level as the rest of the main cast.

The Conway joke was definitely dicey, but he was not equating homosexuality with bestiality. The joke was on Alabama for apparently believing that bestiality is less objectionable than homosexuality.

Really? I thought it underlined how awful he is by juxtaposing it against it the bright and sunny source material. Perhaps I'm in the minority on this one, but that is how it naturally struck me.

I like my coffee like I like my women: ice cream!

Everything online is porn-related, silly.

Also, Vinnie Jones yelling, "I'm the Juggernaut, bitch!" which I love and hate in equal measure.

The Last Stand is indeed not good, but it does have some stupid pleasures.

Have fun watching The Mentalist!

Ukrainians deserve better films.

Actually I guess Bob's Burgers is easily the most consistent of these. There's no reason to ever give it up. I spotlighted New Girl because it has the best chance for transcendence, but if you want security, go Bob's B's.

Out of those, definitely New Girl. Season 4 really finds a sweet spot, and it's when Winston makes himself known as the show MVP. It features the episode that I would consider the series best ("Background Check"). Season 5 is a little weird, what with Zooey Deschanel's maternity leave, but it's worthwhile. Season 6

You see, that's one of the things I love about it. Sure, I don't want to watch dreck like Alvin, but thorough examinations to figure out what they're all about are fascinating.

What about Run the Series?!

What I heard was secondhand gossip from while it was still in production, so there is room for course correction and layers of telephone mix-ups in my intel.

I've heard rumblings from some circles that don't bode well. But hey - it's got Brie Larson (who's packing the guns) and John C. Reilly, so I might give it a look-see.

I was waiting for this.
