I'm reviewing The Simpsons for one of my writing gigs, so I decided it was time for me to finally watch some classic episodes. I picked some that I was already fairly familiar with, but damn, they are so densely packed with jokes, so there was still plenty to discover.
The Simpsons season premiere tonight featured Homer inventing "Arnold Palmer Super Soakers." It was actually a decent gag for latter-day Simpsons, making for a weirdly timely and weirdly satisfying tribute.
