Film: Saw Neighbors 2 and Conjuring 2 on Friday. Liked the former about as much as the original; liked the latter a lot, though not as much as the original. Reviews here and here.
Saw King Jack, a movie produced by a friend and production assisted (for a day) by my brother. It's about a teenage boy dealing with a…

Hugh will still be on my wishlist. (I fully go by the ballot for my predictions; I go by the ballot only when it makes sense for my wishlist.)
I see Book of Mormon commercials every day during Jeopardy!. Ben Brantley of The New York Times said, "This was my fourth time and they still had me at 'Hello.'"
MOVIE TALK TIME!!!
Conjuring 2 is almost as good as the first, but different enough. Patrick Wilson does a mean Elvis.
I too guessed Lindbergh, but I was also considering the Apollo 11 crew. The "getting out of the vehicle" clue didn't sway me in either direction, as I didn't recognize any of the options as one of the most famous vehicle "exits" in history. I mean, I guess Armstrong's exit was famous, but I think his walking was even…
While I certainly love plenty of poo jokes, I kind of wish it were "yahoo.who." That has just the right ring of existential uncertainty.
HAMMMM, GIRL!
Aww, Lisa Loeb!
I've got to say I agree with the article about Drive Angry. I was hoping for trashy fun, but it was mostly trashy trash, and Cage (a little distressingly) did indeed look bored to my eyes. At least William Fichtner brought some cool.
Way off on Snake Eyes and (unforgivably) Ghost Rider, solid description of Wicker Man, and thank God for the appreciation of The Family Man.
Ooh, Joost and Schulman are behind Nerve? Now my excitement feels even more justified.
Time to talk about a movie I saw recently!
The answers to the closing credits songs can be found via clicking the links. There was one other that I couldn't find online - Radiohead's "Exit Music (For a Film)," which is from…
Correct on all your guesses (including 2!), except for 7 (that's Dog Star Man of La Mancha). Yeah, 8 was a little tricky. My brother picked up on it quickly enough. I instantly recognized the song (and I love that scene), but I'm not sure I would have come up with it by myself in time.
Like I just replied to Ege, I agree about yes on the former, and say "not yet" on the latter, with the caveat that I would like to examine a career stats comparison of Nole and Rafa to be sure, but I feel confident with my gut in this case.
I also agree!
