As someone who worked at a theater for more than ten years, I can tell you that it's not that out of the ordinary. Infrequent, but not unheard of.
My brother and I went to a noon showing of Napoleon Dynamite. We were the only ones there. We both worked at this theatre at the time. The ushers had nothing to do that day, so they came in and threw mustard packets at us. We didn't have any food, so at the end of the show, the mustard was all they had to clean up.
I've learned that if I hear a voice performance that sounds like Thomas Lennon, but not quite, then it's probably Jon Daly, as in last night's Archer. Also in that episode, Jon Glaser guest voiced, but I somehow thought it was Paul F. Tompkins.
I'm starting a project in which I curate a list of the best online writers covering entertainment. There are basically 2 criteria:
1. They have to be currently analytically writing about film, television, music, etc.
