So is Benadryl, apparently.

You're not the only one. It's a tense and well-acted film. The very last scene made me laugh, but yeah, I wish it had ended with something more interesting than a ten minute monologue.

Billy Ray Cyrus.

Were the Branch Davidians really an example of the far right, though? They were insane gun nuts, true, but if they were around today I think they'd be more likely to hole up in a compound than attend a Trump rally.

Yeah, is it just me or is that absolutely insane that someone could go to jail for seven years for changing answers on a fucking test? God, our justice system is backwards.

The first one might be the best Indiana Jones knockoff ever made. I remember the second one pissing me off, though, aside from a couple cool sequences in the early going.

John Hannah was the best part of Agents of Shield this season. That guy is awesome.

It's worth noting that RDJ also forced Avengers to change course to be more centered around his character. That's why a lot of stuff dealing with Captain America ended up on the cutting room floor.

I was waiting for this to have a sad ending wherein your coworker left the movie theaters devastated. It's awesome that it really did end up being the movie of his dreams.

I know a lot of people rag on season 3, but for me, season 4 was easily the weakest season of Arrow. I didn't dislike it; I just thought it was really uneven and made some poor storytelling choices. Season 5 is up there with its best, though. Strong villain and just really consistent throughout.

Did anyone actually watch Deep Impact? I feel like that got ignored in favor of the splashier Michael Bay movie. Just like Dante's Peak and…the other one. No one saw that.

I feel like it can be enjoyed irrespective of its message, though - which doesn't really hit home until the ending, anyway, if I recall correctly. For the majority of its runtime it's more a sci fi film than a spiritual one. I even thought the ending was kind of ballsy for going that route, rather than with

Con Air is pretty much the epitome of the good kind of dumb action flick. It may even be the gold standard, at least as far as the '90s go. The Rock and Face/Off weren't exactly brain candy, but I think they can also safely be labeled good action movies without the "dumb" qualifier.

"Knowing" is an underrated latter-day Cage flick. I haven't seen it since theaters, but I remember it being a pretty tense and interesting ride. I also remember at the time that I ignored literally every review besides Roger Ebert's before going in.

"I honest to God did not see the twist in G-Force coming" is an awesome sentence and strangely appropriate for this article.

Yeah, it didn't take that show long to disappear down a rabbit hole/its own ass. He's clearly a really talented dude. If this show were to toe the line between a mindfuck and something a little more traditionally satisfying, it could be something special.

Those are interesting critiques. I would argue the one about Cap never seeming to be in any real peril is a criticism you could level at 99 percent of comic book movies - do we ever think the hero is going to bite the dust, or, for that matter, really suffer any substantial loss at all? I love The First Avenger

Glad you tossed in that bit about looking down on her music (which, by the way, means you have an opinion on her).

Give in…

Problem is a legitimately great pop song. I'm also partial to Love Me Harder, though I keep the windows rolled up when that one's on.
