This morning on my commute I was oddly thinking about the Sharknado franchise and how they ran contests for the subtitles such as the, ah, inspired(?) "The Second One." I honestly wondered if I suggested "More of the Same" as a subtitle if they would be willing to consider it for the arguable meta humor.

They are trying to change our proud gaming traditions! They should stay out of of making games! This is about ethics in gaming journalism!!!

I was curious about who was announced for the voice acting that got people excited, instead I learned of a comic about flying monkeys.

To be fair, if Trump punched all of his supporters in the face I would actually like him more.

^^^ Yeah, they kind of covered that when the Chief said how the people Diana was fighting for were the ones who wiped out his people in a genocide in the "last" war. At that point she had a look on her face that said "Oh, shit, I really just followed whichever side of this conflict talked to me first and assured me

That is interesting and I had not thought of it this way (from the perspective of motivation). However, I could not help but feel that the war ending immediately after Ares' death and especially the scene with the German soldiers removing their gas masks and looking like changed men immediately after undercut the

It's funny, I hear that sentiment a lot, but it's probably second only to The Incredible Hulk for MCU movies I least look forward to revisiting. It has the singular problem that it NEVER feels like Cap is in peril or might lose. Red Skull pretty much just keeps losing. Even Bucky's "death" is more of a symbolic

To be fair, I maintained through Bush's presidency that he was still not as bad as Harding.

Pfshhhh, I doubt it's even in my top 5.

You know in The Simpsons version of Hamlet when Laertes/Ralph is given a free practice swing with his sword and he stabs himself through the chest? Imagine that, multiple times over, but not played for laughs; instead it's overly serious and you're supposed to be invested in the people doing it. And there you have Pr

boner jokes

I think that he's in the same place as Enzo and Cas and possibly (please, no) Finn Balor. He's already over, he's selling merch, etc so he doesn't NEED good booking. People STILL act like every mini-push that he gets means that it's finally his time, that he's finally getting the attention his character deserves.

As much as I have heard people champion NPR, it drives me insane trying to listen to them at times. Their coverage rarely gives me more insight than what I found out from getting breaking news alerts from NTY and WaPo on my phone, and their interviews all seem to end with the interviewee answering a good complex

You know what's funny? You going to the theater wanting to scratch that Star Wars itch was more or less what Fox was hoping for. Alien had been put on the shelf and the studio wasn't interested in making it until Star Wars was a huge hit; then all the studios started scrambling to make whatever space movies they

It was either that, or David did inject him with something while he was on the ship. At that point we have to ignore the fact that it should have been a white alien instead of a black facehugger alien, so there really isn't a good answer to that.

Phantom Menace does not make me frustrated because characters are making the dumbest possible decisions at every turn.

No. Nope. Nonono. Uh-uh. Ain't NOTHING touching the levels of stupidity in Prometheus. Not even remotely close. I mean, yeah, there are some downright dumb decisions in this movie, but the constant stream of utter idiocy that was Prometheus stands alone.

We try not to sexualize Unikitty.

Honestly, every time I hear Unikitty I have to remind myself that it's not Tara Strong, so I don't think there'll be much of an issue.

I did not put together that the Ravager leaders were the original Guardians roster until they all appeared together in the stinger. I feel like Martinex should have made it obvious earlier, but I couldn't put 2 and 2 together.
