Kubo is great, I love it, but I am VERY hard pressed to honestly say that it is better than Zootopia. Kubo has more heart and personality, but Zootopia gets into some really heady, important stuff and does it extremely well for any movie, much less a kids movie.

There are three giant monsters closing in on your location, and the military is planning on detonating a nuke there. Do NOT evacuate! I'm coming and I'll pick you up. We'll save gas that way or something.

America has made better Godzilla films than Japan. America has made more Godzilla films than Japan. Period.

Yesterday was also the first time I truly believed he could unite anyone outside of his pre-existing base in any substantial way.

It gives me pause, every now and then, wondering if me looking at all of the conflicts of interest, the personal character flaws, the disdain for the average American, the press, the First Amendment in general, the desire to do things that most rational people agree will not only harm the US but the entire world and I

When I watched the live action movie I actually thought "huh… I get that it's a Japanese property, and that it was made in Japan… but all of these Japanese actors are going completely counter to the story/characters of the manga."

"Raw may have Brock Lesnar, but where are all the other characters?" implies that Brock Lesnar has a character. Is going to the ring and hopping around while someone else talks about him really a character?

All honesty, Exorcist 3 is one of the best horror movies of all time. I, and many friends that I have who are also horror fans, put it above the original. THAT. DAMN. GOOD. This man wrote and directed one of my favorite movies. He will be missed, but he got to leave his mark on the world. Would that we could

Nah, the second Purge movie had a great mix of social commentary (the revelation that the entire thing was an excuse to kill the poor for various reasons) and good action. My biggest complaint is that it had too many ideas and some of them ended up feeling really rushed.

Wait… I thought the running joke was that The Onion has never won a Pulitzer, despite Zweibel's desire to destroy the prestige of the award by having The Onion win one.

I do that based on the matchmaking in Overwatch, this seems 10,000 times worse.

I think that you linked to the wrong damn Stepford Wives there. Here, you guys even gave the shortest blurb of a review ever for the non-shitty version on DVD.

Hello… Rey… you're… quite… good… at… turning… R2D2… on.

My only regret is that I can only give this one upvote.

Shit, I was hoping Biden.

It seems as Sif you made a decision.

No Silver Surfer (curse you, Fox!) but I was thinking the same thing.

Yeah, but that's kind of just auteur theory. Directors have distinct flourishes that they put into their work that makes it distinctly theirs. Its the reason everyone says Poltergeist is a "Spielberg" movie despite Tobe Hooper having directed it; it contains enough of those iconic elements people associate with

As someone who appears to appreciate horror movies, you should check out The Wailing. Really different, really good, and my gf and I spent the rest of the day trying to pick the movie apart and figure out all of its nuances. I'll put it as second only to The VVitch for horror/thriller movies this year.
