Please don't misunderstand, I get what the show is trying to be. I get that fun and characters are paramount for it. But "smart" is not a strong point of a show where you can regularly expect plot holes, characters to make remarkably bad decisions, where every theory quickly becomes reality, and where I just expect

Hopefully they are just aping the name. Not sure why they are trying to redo the comic, unless it's just some omnibus of all the Civil War story line in one place.

He's making me like beards less! Damn him!!!

Don't you mean Bizarroooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Bizarro?

Does the Mayor normally do a televised press conference proudly proclaiming how he came up with the solution of the poor living in garbage?

"YOU
should avoid this show at all costs. It is terrible. The way it is going it
MUST
be the most poorly written show on TV. As I have no obligation to
WATCH
I stopped after the second episode. Even as mocking material
THIS
is very poor. I'm disappointed, it had some potential. Poor
SHOW"

"Sleepy Hollow is often a very smartly constructed series"

I… I… holy shit, I get that you're not reviewing Supernatural anymore, but you're not even mentioning that it's on, the second episode of the season and in October no less, but you have space to pimp Sleepy Hollow a day after it aired? Wow. Just wow.

They also don't really have the number of characters to make it a real war as opposed to a small skirmish. I mean by that point they may have what? Two dozen heroes? And like you said, pretty much everyone already knows who all of them are. It just doesn't seem like they have built a world that can sustain this

That's actually really accurate. You had the main book and its story, but then each tie in book seemed to have its own not always copacetic story. They needed to have someone giving a large overall story with what everyone was doing and when, making it all make sense together, then giving each writer the general

I won't watch American Horror Story without Jessica Lang.

The horror! The horror!

"But back to the numbers (also reported on by The Numbers, one of Box Office Mojo’s competitors). "

That's "chowdah"! Chowdah! I'll kill you! I'll kill all of you, especially those of you in the jury!

I actually preferred Lancaster's "Baked" Pumpkin Ale. It had a creamier mouthfeel (which Lancaster is really good at doing) that was almost like having whipped cream with it. Awesome stuff.

I must applaud AV Club for eschewing normal Katy Perry coverage and instead using a picture that makes her look not even remotely attractive. Kudos.

I don't see the Heads of Liberty beating the Chickens by two possessions. Not that they won't beat them, but it will be one possession making the Chickens fans suffer thinking they might be able to pull it out until the final grueling seconds.

I kind of hope that in the future articles about movies made in the US start with:

Considering the response, I wouldn't be surprised if she got her own book. As I recall, the "Spider-Girl" series started as a one off "What If..?" story.

Recently discovered! The Higgs Boson Position! Sure to make her scream "Oh my God Particle!"
