But why would anybody expect MTV to know about something music-related?
But why would anybody expect MTV to know about something music-related?
You know what, I honestly didn't even notice I did that.
Is Jess Drew really considered to be part of the Spider-Man Universe?
I'm not sure if you're joking, but it would have pissed me off and could have ruined the movie if he'd been miscast.
Honest question; when did that happen? I haven't been reading Marvel crossovers for a while (Original Sin pulled me back in), so just all of a sudden one issue Venom and Captain Marvel are there, wtf?!? I figure it must have happened in some other book then just NEVER BEEN EXPLAINED in the main book.
I didn't realize it was him until my second viewing. Sweet casting.
"I mean, I've heard people laugh hysterically at trailers for Grown Ups 2"
I saw Guardians of the Galaxy. Twice. Because look at my avatar, and keep in mind that I've been using it for years. And because it's good.
I cannot imagine being one of the lawyers who had to parse out who has the film rights to the Badoon.
Fox still has the film rights to Fantastic 4. I have heard rumors that they may try to do a crossover with X-Men, and I have heard other rumors that they are only making the new reboot so the rights don't revert to Marvel.
Damn it… now I'm going to have to look for that on a second viewing.
"the exception that proves the rule"
…Yes.
I feel like "he's fanatical and wants to kill people" is about as shallow and simple as you can get for motivation, and that's pretty much ALL the characterization he gets. He's not the deepest character in the comics, but the movie still strips out his honor, his rigid adherence to the law (he actually goes…
I was wondering about that. He's not exactly the type of guy to go flying around the galaxy banging whatever lower life-forms he finds. But if they are going to say that only sufficiently powerful beings can hold infinity stones and just being the son of somebody is enough to let Quill hold one, Warlock makes a lot…
I noticed three creatures that the Collector had caged: the slave girl (whose race I was not sure about. Kree? Xandarian?), Cosmo, and a Dark Elf. I suppose one of them could have technically been a Skrull in disguise, but I'm pretty sure that Skrulls fall under the Fantastic Four license so they aren't allowed in…
It's not logical, and I can offer up only two speculative reasons.
Similar to what E.Buzz Miller said, it would probably be closer to something like the Death Star but on an even bigger scale. The plot will revolve around getting it away from him, but there's a better than slight chance that it will have already done massive amounts of damage before it's over.
Okay cards on the table; I actually like the DNA Guardians of the Galaxy. You might have noticed that my avatar is a subtle tribute to it. I preferred the DNA stuff when they were having grand cosmic adventures to the modern stuff where it should be renamed Guardians of the Earth.
To be fair, I did see a middling review that pointed out how the movie was too much "Fun." I was glad they warned me.
