Gahhh!
Gahhh!
"The prince’s head of security (or whatever his actual title would be)
commits seppuku while simultaneously being beheaded. Harsh." Well, yes, but that's exactly what's supposed to happen in seppuku.
"Heroes Team Up"? Wasted opportunity. The crossover should have been called "Heroes United". Then next season you introduce Ragdoll, Catman, and bring back Deadshot. Then come crossover time you have Scandal Savage show up and form them into a team and you call the crossover… "Villians United". Tada!
Don't feel bad. I too am usually very very skeptical about these kind of things…. but in this particular case, I'm all in.
Her hair gives her an advantage. Pulling back long, wavy hair can do a lot to change perception of a person's face structure. Supes can style his hair differently as Clark but it's not as pronounced an effect as pulling back hair that frames an entire face.
It's worth noting that as the article states, this whole series is a flashback from the "current" DCU (as poorly defined as that is right now, just try and keep Superman's timeline straight right now, I dare you). In the period following what takes place in this book, PG returns to Earth 2, gets embroiled in the…
I'd giggle with glee if we got a live action version of Ragdoll. Probably no way to tone down his… uniqueness for broadcast TV though.
Oh that one's easy, Wells was Mr. Myxzptlk the whole time!
Forgive my geek-pedantry, but while its true that in the comics the term "meta human" has occasionally been used as a catch-all for "people with powers", usually due to writer/editorial laziness, originally, and properly, the term refers specifically to people who gained powers due to having their meta-gene activated…
Yeah. The escalating tensions between the Nazis and the Japanese is one of the major plot drivers in the book.
At first glance I read that as Steven Tyler and had the the most incredible moment of mental disorientation.
Gah!! You are right of course. How could I have forgotten the Face ofBoe?
"Never gonna be cancelled" What IS JNT doing these days? What? He's dead? Never mind.
Colin Baker as well! Ok, bad example.
No thanks. I like river but a little of her goes a long way. I couldn't take as a week in, week out presence on the show.
This. It tends to get lost in all the "leather loincloth" hullabaloo, but Jameson was/is quite a fine actress.
She was about a million times better playing against Capaldi than Smith. Still, the whole "Impossible Girl" arc she was introduced with was so embarrassingly "fan-ficy" that it kind of poisoned her character for me.
Three words: Sir. Paul. McCartney. How fucking crazy would that be?
How about that ridiculously huge guy who plays The Mountain on Game of Thrones? The one with the letters in his name that I have no idea how to reproduce on my iPad?
Only problem with that is that Jack is an immortal character who is untouched by time. And Barrowman has been, well, pretty visibly touched by time. I think the dynamic between Jack and Capaldi's Doctor would be incredible though.
