I feel like one big problem with breaking bad is that the characters seemingly work from the viewers' perspective sometimes, possessing knowledge about events that they weren't involved with or aware of.  Last night with Skylar, she really knows nothing about Jesse.  She is working with the tiniest fragments of

I'm always amused at how people are able to frame virtually everything that happens to Jesse sympathetically and Walt antagonistically.  Yeah, Walt's suggestions that Jesse skip town was in part self-serving - and it was also the correct advice.  Maybe if you're irrationally depressed, catatonic, under police and DEA

I think the show was pretty amazing in the first season, building off the incredible premise, and has had some very good characters over the years.  But I also think its been in decline for a while, and is characterized by clunky dialogue and silly plots.  Five worst storylines in BB:

My favorite of all the crazy, laughable "coincidences" on the show…..Jesse is hanging out on the front porch with Jane before they're a couple.  Jesse trying to be cool and impress her.  A guy drives by on a Harley and says something to the effect of "hey, you're that Pinkman everyone is talking about!", and Jane is

I've never even heard of this show before, but I must note that Ken Marino is a comedic genius.  Last time I saw him in anything was The Ten, which he probably should have gotten some kind of Oscar for.

"The audience is plenty smart on their own, and they’re perfectly capable of adding two plus two. That’s something we typically like to do on Breaking Bad, to hint at things and imply things." - Vince Gilligan, like a year ago.  How times change.

That's it, you cracked the code.  Its also interesting that 2.16 billion/666 = 3243243.243243…….where the "243" repeats ad infinitum, which is a latin word just like some of the terminology in chemistry - aka Walt's field of study.  Amazing how its all coming together.

You must be some kind of genius.  A humble genius at that.

Just have to add, after reading these discussions for a few weeks…….do you folks constantly accusing people of misogyny have *any* idea how annoying that is?  Its like, huge numbers of people of all shapes and sizes have detailed exactly what they don't like about the Skylar character, at least on the sites I
