In the books, they're basically loyal to the Boltons because the Freys hold Greatjon Umber (or maybe his son) hostage. They plainly hate the Boltons and Freys. Not sure if the show is just ignoring that. I think it's a setup.

I don't think so. I'm sure Ramsay will lock them both up and keep a pretty tight watch on them.
Agreed. The whole "I won't kneel" bit plus the fact that Osha is still alive means Rickon/Umber collusion.
I'll play!
"Jonny Gets A Haircut" is probably the name of an unreleased Replacements tune.
Yeah, like just one: "I know what's comin', and I know he's the only one of us who has a hope o' stoppin' it."
Not THAT tough though:
We've all been there.
I don't think so. Like I said, everybody fucking loves this guy, and since lesbians are part of "everybody," of course they love him.
Right. Because everybody fucking loves David Bowie.
So now I have to decide between Stannis and Ramsay? Both are unredeemably evil now. Hopefully Brienne kills one and Pod gets the other.
That just made Robert's claim stronger than Ned's, not stronger than anybody else's in the realm.
He's pretty narrowly drawn and tedious. No complexity whatsoever. Joffrey, while being a sadistic sociopath, was also a total mama's boy wussbag. Gave a little complexity to his character, even though the character himself was totally abhorrent.
That seems right.
Yup the politics and squabbles are now meaningless, regardless of who is "right" and "wrong." Everybody is just White Walker meat if they don't band together (which Cersei will predictably resist and be killed for, I hope).
I think Sam finds mention of it in some of his readings.
Agreed. Stannis will surely be killed at some point, but if he gets killed by Ramsay fucking Bolton, that's an upset for the ages.
I agree. There is not a character on the show right now who is in the general vicinity of where she would be.
Yeah, I don't think they'd change that plot point. Seems pretty important.
Whoever that was, they untied the boat from the pier after Jon got in. But they never turned around to see what the hell was going on on shore. Very strange to me.
