This ep was good but it wasn't THAT good.    This is one of those shows that the media goes crazy about which I don't quite get.  Sepinwall tweeted this ep was "tremendous"

Except that it goes on and on without any real hook.  It's a good song but it could have been great.

why have there been budget cuts?  Ratings not good enough?

Abby and Luka healthy? Very far from healthy.  Basically because Wylie left the writers were forced to end with Abby and Luka.  If Wylie had stayed it would have been Carter and Abby.  Even Wylie talked about this during one of his hiatuses.

I thought the stuff with Sally Field was great.  I never did like Abby and Luka mostly because it felt like the writers settled on them once Noah Wylie decided to leave the show.

Did Big Love bounce back after S3?  I don't recall that it ever did

I really enjoyed this.  I'll be watching this on Mondays instead of The Following.  Disappointed it had such low ratings but considering I hadn't even heard about it until yesterday I guess not too surprising.
Not a bad show at all.  Hope it sticks around. 

Nah, I think the last season was the shows weakest season.  For some strange reason the writers thought we wanted to see wife/mother Agent Dunham instead of the Agent Dunham we had seen for the 4 previous seasons.
Thankfully, she returned in the finale but still a whole season with Olivia in mourning over her daughter…

Isn't Cult created by the same person who created Farscape?    I loved Farscape!

Yep. Fringe and Parenthood are the only network shows I appreciate as I do some cable shows.  Now with Fringe gone there's only Parenthood.  The Good Wife use to be pretty good but that's gone downhill since last season.
I'm still looking forward to watching The Following but with lowered expectations.

The season 4 finale of Fringe was pretty low.  The Bell stuff was but then again I don't think the show ever got as low as Across The Sea.
I also preferred this finale to Lost finale.

Yep. Seeing the necklace triggered her abilities.  In the past it was her love for Peter that could trigger her abilities. This time it was her love and fear of not seeing Etta again that did it. 
I  think that is so cool.

Agree.  I didn't have my eye on the clock so when the screen faded to black I was shocked.   Was hoping to see a bit more of Olivia, Peter and Etta in 2015.

Loved Liberty. Cortexi Olivia is always exciting to watch. Plus Bolivia is still hot.

It was much much better than Across the Sea. 
Sorry I recently rewatched Lost season 6 and gosh, was Across the Sea awful
