Entirely unwatchable without Jackson? LOL

I think JJ is the weakest of the 3 leads. The charm he tries to pull off in season 1 is completely fake.  Plus he's not very good in the emotional stuff. Very stone face.

Though wouldn't have our Broyles known about this plan since Alt Broyles turned himself into him

Who knows. How do shitty shows like Bones go on for 7 or 8 seasons yet Fringe struggles to a shortened 5 seasons.

Fringe over Lost for me.   I just love the characters more on Fringe.

Lucky Peter

This news totally made my year. Have to give it to Fox and Kevin Reilly for supporting the show

I was missing our Olivia in early S4 as well. I think many were hence the show lost some viewers. But I think the writers were clever in slowly revealing that she was our Olivia. I now look at those earlier eps in a whole new light and I can't wait to do a rewatch of the season when its over.  I give credit to the

what lack of resolution/closure? Fringe is actually one show who does give us answers

yep especially considering the last 2 eps the writers have played up what Olivia and Peter been up to since their reunion.   Remember Walter teasing "the lovebirds" about catching up on lost time

I think it was meant to be pretty obvious that she was their daughter. I mean the writers even had everyone just call her "agent." I think the writers wanted us to feel connected to her and want her to succeed.  I think the big reveal was Peter realizing who she was.

But we've known all season that something was going to happen to Olivia in the future

That was pretty awesome.  I did miss Olivia/Anna though.  So the bullet Etta was wearing around her neck was the one that killed her mother?  Fringe team better do something to change this future.  Just can't deal with Olivia being dead!

It's not wishful thinking when even Fringe producer has said its a real possibility of 13 eps happening.  And TV Lines Michael Ausiello has it listed on their sites renewal scorecard as "a sure thing."  So insiders seem to know something.

A shorteneed S5 seems to be the rumor. Even producer Joel Wyman on twitter has said he's feeling good about getting a shortened S5 from Fox.  Nothing confirmed yet though. Ratings for this episode were poor so I'm hoping Fox doesn't just pull the plug all together.  I'm going to miss these characters so much.

I don't think that's Ella. I'm guessing that is Peter and Olivia's daughter

I missed our Olivia in this episode. I always miss our team when they arent there as much. Loved the little we saw of them though out though

I just look at them as our characters now that we've learned that they are! It wasn't a different universe after all.  I am able to look at the those early S4 eps with a whole new perspective and I dig it now.

Yeah in S3 Peter explains that Walter made up the name Fauxlivia

Great to have the show back. My first thought when the episode ended was how beautiful it was.  Hoping we get that season 5
