I saw it as "You are an asshole and I'm not even going to dignify that with a response". I will admit I'm always inclined to go with the option that makes a character I like look better, and as far as I'm concerned that would be one of the best paths given the available options in that extremely odd conversation.

The funny thing is that when I first saw Bonnie's reaction I assumed it was less in relation to the whole blood thing and more about the fact that Elena was hanging all over Damon who, last time I checked, isn't the one she's dating. That the vampire half of it was unpleasant, but not necessarily the initial shock.

@SnorkJuice:disqus :  I do appreciate it when the lead in a comedy actually seems to be enjoying themselves and having fun. Sorry for jumping the gun, I think I've just seen it used a shorthand for 'terrible show' so many times I've gotten a little defensive. :-)
