Yeah, I always thought the ending was kind of how B Coop's character would have wanted it, like with the Hemingway novel, it ended before it got sad.

I like these HR roundtable interviews. There's a good one from a couple years ago with a bunch of comedians: Kristen Schaal, Nick Kroll, Anthony Jeselnik, Cecily Strong, and some other guy.

50 SHADES OF DEATH!

I love him in Spaceballs, but I've never really liked him much outside of that. I haven't seen most of SCTV though.

They still make music don't they? Heyooooo!

My favorite part of Street Sharks was how how whenever someone was transformed into a street shark or other man/animal hybrid, they were okay with it almost right away and didn't attempt to find a cure. I'd like to see a movie remake that really plays up the absurdity of things like that.

Elvis Presley ain't got no soul
Chuck Berry is rock n roll
You may dig on the Rolling Stones
But they ain't come up with that style on they own

We've got a real Shmia Shmabeouf over here.

Yeah, I'd say WHAS or Black Dynamite, which is honestly my favorite "spoof"/parody comedy.

At least it's not Double Trouble.

They've had one running where they talk to Bill Hader and Amy Poehler. Lewis Black would have been great though.

With license plates and untinted windows.

I could have sworn they did but I can't find it. I'm not sure where else I would have read about it either.

Is that why he wears all those scarves? He identifies as some kind of furry octopus?

Yet he still somehow lives by the words "it wouldn't hurt to say our prayers."

Begging to be torn down!

Haha, nice try! Everybody eat his brain!

That's a brave stance.

And he says "Look it up when you get home," which seems more relevant to today's audience than it was back then (though I guess most people probably had dictionaries). Classic.

I didn't think it was great, but it was fairly enjoyable and better than at least 3 of the POTC movies, to make Verbinski/Depp comparisons. Definitely better than I was expecting.
