If you can't be bothered, maybe we can't be bothered.

To be fair, not everyone speaks the language of the Birdpersons.

I second that.

It takes place all over the United States, so that gives the story an epic feel. Plus, I appreciate Shadow more as a character. He's a guy who comprehends how crazy his circumstances are, but he generally keeps his wits about him.

The Asimov one looks cool, but I wish Babina had picked a more representative quote.

And Lex Luthor. I think we all dodged a (kryptonite?) bullet.

Exactly.

That's an oddly specific fetish.

THEY'RE CALLED BOOBS, ED!

It's really Will Oakley.

For what it's worth I'm re-reading American Gods, the "Author's Preferred Text," and I'm enjoying it much more than the first time.

None more dope.

Katma Tui?

Yes. I am also sure that is a thing that will happen.

Xena can't fly.

Stop it! This spelling out of our user names is tearing us apart!

Pretty spurious comparison there. I don't think you have a leg to stand on.

It's been so long since I read The Historian that the only thing I took away from the experience is: If I'm being held captive by an unholy fiend, please skip brunch and look for me.

Fine. *sigh* Quit horsing around.
