I was thinking that of quite a few musical cues in the last few episodes…
That's pretty much the feel I get from it as well.. my wife enjoys it, so I end up having to watch occasionally.
The Crazies remake was pretty good…
Agreed.. been a big fan since W&G, our kids love Shaun the Sheep, but all the jokes on this one seem like a couple notches below their usual quality.
.. an even older reference - I seem to recall it in a pulpy Robert E Howard short story…
Only 10 minutes into this one, and I'm wondering - was all this boy-caligula stuff totally made up, or was it hinted at in the books? because it's not like we needed *more* reasons to hate Joffrey's guts.
or, OR.. they could have some sorta frankenstein/cyborg combining all the working parts of Dickie/Errol/Quarles!
ahhh, I love this place
I was waiting for that as well! :(
I liked it, I daresay I found it funnier than I usually find the original stooges (gasp) - never been a huge fan really, but took my 9yo son to see this (he was begging) and was expecting to barely tolerate it, perhaps nap - and ended up laughing quite a bit.

I liked it a lot too, enjoyed nearly every minute.. some minutes more than others - that blonde had a slinky tushy - but i also liked how they pulled the ending off.
"How hard is it to kill 9 year olds?!?"
… and a young Dickie Bennet's in there too!
Saw this last night (ps3viavudu) and liked it. I'd been really looking forward to it after recently seeing 'sleeping dogs lie' and 'world's greatest dad' and generally coming to the conclusion that B.G. was some kind of indie-auteur, making greek-tragedy-meets-after-school-special classics…
This one felt a little…
Tig Ol' Bitties!
yes, full-on sense of dread throughout the whole thing, great flick..
well, there was that little house ep where the one kid (Albert?) was tricked into eating a sandwich with a worm in it. I was pretty young, and that scared me off sandwiches for awhile.
THis may have already been mentioned:
