having a sick day today, and this article inspired me to dig the dvd set out and watch this episode
ouch!
hopefully someone saved something.. otherwise they were stuck on a boat for a week listening to jam music - SOBER!
another vote for outlander and its awesome absurdity!
ha! @Joey Stink Eye
Escape (Pina Colada song) pretty much cinches the genre for me, but yeh, definitely Christopher Cross.
Can I like his and the Foo Fighters version of Baker Street? cuz I do.. I wish there were more hard-rock remakes of 70s singer/songwriter tunes in general…
heh, good one
The nilsson doc is worth seeing - not only to introduce you to his music (a lot of which you've probably heard and hadn't realized it was one person behind it all) and he was a pretty interesting guy… He and TVZ had very different lives, but their journeys definitely had some of the same waypoints.
oh, and Townes Van Zandt, also saw a really good docu on him that made me wanna hear all his stuff…
Harry Nilsson
Saw the recent documentary on him, and it made me an instant fan - realizing how many tunes that were his and I never realized it - coconut, everybody's talking (midnight cowboy), without you, one (is the loneliest..)
I didn't know this band from squat before this..
but I like her voice, and her general presence, and she's kinda hot, and I think they did a decent job of this song, but maybe not as good as swell season's…
6/15, going to see black swan matinee tomorrow, and have Mother/..Gift Shop on ye olde Netflix instant q…
receiving end…
nice, see what you did there…
yeh, that was some great acting in that hospital cafeteria scene.. Also, Broyles hearing about his other's life… yeesh, this show has gotten good…
Yep, the governor, I was thinking that too, as soon as his hand went missing…
the promise in the first season…
shames the mountains tall…
my part
Love this show..
You can kiss…
my sister's black cat's ass!
When she comes in and calms down the whole standoff, I liked it, even tho up til then, it did kinda seem like a special ep of TJ Hooker where he confronts the problems of gangs in the city. I liked it being turned on its head…
personally, I like the non-fail firstie combined with the out of nowhere critique… maybe those new arcade fire video do suck!
