Yeh, I've been finding the same thing in the later stories in the Savage Sword volumes. Some of the writers really stuck with the 'Conan wanders into town, get mixed up with local nobility/sorcerer and has to defeat some unnamed monster in moat/dungeon/tower' formula. Sprinkle in T&A liberally…

I dunno, I grew up on Buscema/Chan.. and didn't see Windsor-Smith stuff until years later, and when I did I thought his Conan looked like a disco/Barbarino (the sweathog) version.. Maybe we can at least agree to not enjoy Gil Kane's work!

agreed! the movie, while exciting when I saw it as a 12 y.o. has little to do with the real Conan stories (enslaved for years as a child?) and I don't think Schwarzenegger comes off as crafty and intelligent as Conan's supposed to be…

THERE THEY ARE AGAIN!! AHHH!! hey, wait.. maybe not so random at all.. they are creepy looking tho..

ugh
just got a random 3 in a row jackpot of ugly/pasty/doughy guy close-ups from the content auto-recycler-majig: albert brooks, errol morris, then nicholson in full glower mode from the shining

Seems like a cool guy.. good interview - didn't want to make me buy any ICP albums or anything…

wow, thanks for the link.. great live version of 'the Rat'

wowza
what a trip down memory lane.. is it bad if I have more memories of these shows then of my actual life?

Dang, always thought Mr. White was being original…

@El Zilcho: I'd start with Heart of Saturday Night and Small Change (maybe some Early Years vol. 1 or 2)

version? we call that an original where I hails from…

cold as a well-diggers ass

Train song on Big Time makes me weep like a little girl.. *sniff*.. and I hate me some Blue valentine, I don't know why.. I hear that album and I think that he was trying to do something different, and it hadn't quite ripened/cooked enough, to what his later stuff would become, and you can tell…

Bone Machine is pretty rocking, yet more accessible than most.. First one I recall hearing…

Kinda brief, eh? for such a career?! maybe I'm thinking of primer articles…

Less Arlene, more Terry, more Jason and Andy, less Jason and everything else…

Sheitan
You didn't ask if he still hears from that dog?

The Dreams episode is pretty special too…

@scoop: I agree, that's always been my dividing line when Radar left and Klinger took over his job… You can usually gauge this by Hot Lip's dye job.

I'll second the Crazies.. they just put the original on netflix instant watch too…
